Before Macklemore made it cool, I loved going to garage sales (or any thrifty-type-place). There’s something thrilling about finding that perfect bicycle– or whatever your heart desires–for a can’t-be-beat price tag.  I’ve spent many Saturdays (and a few rare Fridays) scouring other people’s Britney Spears CDs (who would throw those out?!), coffee grinders, and golf clubs. While every sale is not a win, every sale has that potential, which keeps me coming back for more. If you’re just beginning to hit the streets for sales, or even searching for some handy DIY project fixer-uppers, this is the place to be.
